A bit of inspiration

A great shot, by Pele Soeeborg, made on the new version of his Daneville layout. Modern western CA railroading captured very well, the scene and colors etc are brilliantly executed. Pele is a master at that sort of thing, he's written books, and regular articles in ModelRailroader magazine, and gives clinics from time to time. Pictures like this just invite me to go and do some more work on my own layout.

  1. A master, indeed - at first sight, I thought there are real locos and nature. Just the near loco, that 8365 made me see this is a layout...

And a little bit off-topic (knowing your need for American cars from the 80s) - some free card models, they're on 1:100 scale, but this is not a big problem - rescaling at 116% would make them 1:87, for example.

    And some Fords: http://www.dcmodel.cz/MDT.html
I use not to leave this kind of models with their original "glass" windows, but to make some colourless plastic instead and glue it there, also make on my own the inside stuff - seats, steering wheels etc. So, if you have some spare time, you could try... I hope I wasn't too boring with my "advices", sir.
